Domestic producers of easy-listening are becoming more and more popular in Russia. This does not come as a surprise. The quality of their sound matches that of its foreign analogs and their music is becoming more and more original.

As the name "Different Listening" suggests, the compilation contains a wide-range of musical styles: lounge, downtempo, some acid jazz and experimental.

In addition to Russian musicians the album counts with the participation of colleagues from Germany, Byelorussia and Brazil (one track from each). Our journey starts in Khabarovsk with an introduction in the spirit of "Star Wars". Continuing our trip around the world of light electronic music, we make stops in St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Archangelsk, we take a peek at Mainz, Moscow, Nizhni Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Minsk and even spend some time in Rio de Janeiro!

Biopsychose and Svetlana Avramova (Khabarovsk) deserve high praise. Their expressive track "Ty Vpered, A Ya Nazad" successfully disrupts the general calmness of the album.

Among the represented majority of musicians from St. Petersburg, Strike and Jazzy Puzzles are particularly worthy of note. The latter's "Thriller" is very reminiscent of his earlier "Flavor", included in the 2000 compilation "putINout".

It will take some effort to find this compilation in Moscow, but if you succeed, I guarantee that it will not collect dust. One of your friends will definitely wear it out.
